The Main Active Ingredients Contained In Angelica
1. Volatile oil
The volatile oil contained in Angelica contains different components in different parts, among which the content of ligustilide is the highest, followed by butenyl lactone. Angelica volatile oil has anti-platelet aggregation, neuroprotection and analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
2. Ferulic acid
The chemical name of ferulic acid is 4-hydroxy-3-methoxycinnamic acid, which is one of the derivatives of cinnamic acid. Ferulic acid can scavenge free radicals, promote the production of free radical scavenging enzymes, increase the activity of glutathione S-transferase and purine reductase, and inhibit tyrosinase activity to regulate human physiology.
